Hello! I am Vivien, a passionate tutor with six years of experience teaching both online and in-person, in tutoring centres and as a teaching assistant in school. I have a strong understanding of curriculums and exam boards and a portfolio of high-quality resources in a range of subjects. I have a first-class Master’s degree in English Literature, as well as a first-class Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and French, A* at A-level in French, English Literature and History, and 11 GCSE’s, all at A*-A.
I have taught students aged 5-16 in a range of subjects, and I strive to understand each student’s individual learning style and interests to make lessons as engaging and effective as possible. I am happy to help with homework, exam preparation, or improving subject understanding, and can tailor my lessons accordingly. I am able to communicate clearly to ensure understanding, break down complex concepts, and reinforce learning through exercises and quizzes.
