Dmitry nació en Rusia en 1971, de familia de artistas. Comenzó a
estudiar música a los 5 años en el Conservatorio Internacional Musorgsky.
Siguió sus estudios en la Escuela Central Superior de Música de Moscú. A los 23
años egresó del Conservatorio Internacional P. I.Tchaikovskiy de Moscú. En los
años estudiantiles participó en festivales internacionales dirigidos por Mstislav
Rostropovich y Mikis Teodorakis y realizo giras por Japón, Francia, Grecia,
Rusia, Alemania y Bulgaria.
Desde el 1995 se radicó en Argentina y se desempeñó en el Trío Barroco de
Buenos Aires dirigido por Arnolda Hirsch, fue finalista y ganador del concurso
de audio grabaciones auspiciado por CITIBANK y fue premiado con el Master
Class del concertino del grupo de violoncellos y solista de New York
Philarmonic del Prof. Carter Bray, dirigida por Kurt Masur en su Latin
American Tour 1997. Ganó el 1º premio en el concurso” Franz Liszt organizado
por el Conservatorio Franz Liszt de Buenos Aires. Fue finalista del concurso
“Nuevos Talentos de Música Clásica” organizado por el Canal “A” de Cable. Fue
solista de violoncello en el musical de Broadway “La Bella & La Bestia” realizado
en el Teatro Opera y “Bodas de Fígaro” en el Teatro Colonial. Tuvo numerosas
participaciones discográficas y artísticas en producciones internacionales de el
músico y compositor Gustavo Santaolalla y de Afo Verde (BMG & Sony Musik).
Participó en numerosas producciones artístico-publicitarios, las mas destacadas
fueron: O.N.U. “Año 2000”, Volkswagen Mexico “Despedida mundial del
Escarabajo”, Televisa México “Campaña publicitaria por la honestidad”, Diego
Maradona “Museo Ambulante”. Fue solista de violoncello en la realización de
”Buenos Aires Classic” en el concierto de Gustavo Cerati de M.T.V. Como
músico y actor participó en el programa televisivo “Bar del infierno” del escritor
Alejandro Dolina, realizado en el Canal 7 de Buenos Aires. Participo en
realización de bandas de sonido de películas, series televisivas y programas de
entretenimiento. Los más destacados son: “Gasoleros” (Pol-ka), Video Match
(Tinelli), “El día que me amen” (Pol-ka), de Daniel Burman “El nido vacío”, “El
abrazo partido” y “Derecho de Familia”. En la ultima participó como músico y
actor. Participó en los Shows de Maria Gabriela Epumer, Celeste Carballo,
Divididos, Los Pericos, La Renga, David Lebon, Bersuit, Alejandro Dolina,
Cesar Lerner, Pedro Aznar, PopStars y grabó set de cuerdas en el último disco
de Los Redonditos de Ricota.

Professional violin and viola teacher based in Berlin, teaching in person at students' location or online, in English, German or Russian.

As well as instrumental teaching and ensemble coaching of at all levels over the last 12 years, I’ve led numerous professional workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ workshops in London and was an assistant on the Primary Arpeggione viola course and at the Springgrove music competition. As a member of the European String Teachers’ Association, I participated in their conferences across Europe.

I have prepared students for music exams at all levels, working with them on music theory, aural and sight reading skills, and regularly accompany students on the piano.

As a performing musician, I appear as a soloist and chamber musician internationally, recently including at the ‘Gstaad Menuhin’, ‘Schiermonnikoog’ and 'Rome Chamber Music' festivals. I have participated in several international competitions, notably receiving the Barbirolli prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition 2019, 1st prize at the Małopolska competition, and the Len Lickorish Memorial Prize at the Royal Overseas League International Strings Competition.

I hold a masters degree with first class honours from the class of Tabea Zimmermann at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, and Bachelors with the same distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London. I attended the International Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove on four occasions and have collaborated with composers Garth Knox, Vasilis Alevizos and Thomas Jones on their new works, with performances in London and at the Agora Music Festival in Luxembourg.

As a chamber musician I have played with the 12, Seida and 4|12 ensembles, as well as with musicians of the Berlin Philharmonic and clarinettist Matthew Hunt at HellensMusic festival, with Tabea Zimmermann at the Laeiszhalle Hamburg, with Claudio Martínez Mehner and Christoph Poppen in Santander, and with members of the ARC ensemble at the Music of Exile Festival in Toronto, Canada, amongst others.

I was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra in 2018, and a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain from 2014-2015, appearing on BBC Radio 3 broadcasts and a televised BBC Prom, as well as being involved in the NYO outreach programme ‘inspire’ in schools across London, including workshops and interactive performances at the Royal Festival Hall.

Ich unterrichte seit 10 Jahren erwachsene Anfänger und Mittelstufe im Violinspiel und Violaspiel. Dabei wird der Fokus ganz unterschiedlich gelegt. Einer möchte gern Entspannung im Violinspiel finden. Ein anderer möchte gern ein bestimmtes Stück spielen können, weil es ihm gut gefällt. Ein dritter hat nach langer Zeit wieder die Geige ausgepackt.

Ich selbst habe > 10 Jahre Geigenunterricht erhalten und studiere derzeit Viola am Konservatorium Bozen. Ich habe 10 Jahre Erfahrung im Unterrichten.

Ich unterrichte klassische und auch elektrische Geige, immer auf den Schüler abgestimmt. Der Unterricht kann auch nach der Suzuki-Methode erfolgen.

Aufgrund meiner Banderfahrung mit Geige/Bratsche bin ich auch Ansprechpartnerin, wenn ihr Geige oder Bratsche in einer Band spielt.

Me parece muy importante tener en cuenta los objetivos y deseos personales del alumno y crear un ambiente de ánimo, creatividad y comprensión mutua.

I graduated with honors from the “Monteverdi” Conservatory in Italy and I hold a Bachelor and Master’s Degree from the Mozarteum University Salzburg, having studied with Prof. Lukas Hagen and Prof. Klara Flieder. I performed all over Europe and in South America with renowned ensembles such as Camerata Salzburg and Munich Chamber Orchestra.

I emphasize the development of solid technical skills while nurturing each student’s musical expression and creativity. Whether you are preparing for a performance or playing for personal enjoyment, I strive to make each lesson engaging and fulfilling, allowing students to progress at their own pace while enjoying the process.
