Physical education is important to all children. Gaining even a basic understanding on the benefits that physical exercise has on the body can impact future lifestyles. Studies have also shown that when learners participate in physical activity, they are more likely to retain information given and have a better attitude to studying. I have done a lot of cover work teaching in various high schools around the Preston area. I specialise in special educational needs and physical education. However, I have covered many other classes such as maths, english and science. I am able to adapt lessons to ensure they are children centered and use the necessary guidance books for children to learn from to gain the necessary qualification (e.g if they are wanting to sit their GCSEs). I am a friendly and outgoing person. I have worked within the education for 8 years. I also run a holiday club in the half terms and I am a manager of a football team. I am always working with children encouraging self motivated learning, wanting children to want to achieve and progress.
