I have a Bachelors degree in contemporary songwriting & performance, plus years of experience playing in my own jazz / pop bands as well as function projects where we cover a whole range of genre. Together we can progress abilities such as - Combining the elements of playing and singing at the same time - Learning to read and use online materials such as chord sheets, jazz lead charts & learning from ear. - Progressing the way you play cover music with techniques such as harmonic progression, chord inversions / re-harmonisation, feel changes - Improvisation & Soloing - Creating rhythmic patterns with right/left hand seperation - Vocal and Piano technique ensuring healthy tendencies to your playing (using vocal chords correctly, posture whilst playing etc...) - Performance technique (instrument tone, microphone technique, audience engagement) - Home recording We can build a lesson plan based on the music you love, and what aspect of your musical skillset your looking at developing!
