Personalised teaching courses will be offered around the same theme: the Italian language and its culture. Depending on the requests, my courses will offer language classes for all levels. From learning grammar, vocabulary, sentences construction to conversation and writing exercises. If requested I will provide topic-specific conversations and/or writing exercises, for instance in Business (Sales, Purchasing...), History, Geography and so on. High flexibility in terms of teaching days, hours and location (my place, yours, on the web or even in a café!). Of course having to deal with an Italian (ME!) is included in the package:-)

I have recently moved in Antwerp city center. Sharing my cultural background brings me everyday closer to my native country. Offering Italian courses represents also a good way to get to know people from Antwerp and its neighbourhood. I am a teacher who want to make the learning process fun and interactive, using amongst all songs, poetry and so on. I try to adapt the speed and the teaching methods of my courses on the type of student in order to get the best result. Conversation skills represent for me a very important factor in terms of result, that's why I tend to concentrate half of my classes in reading and conversation exercises.

Hello everyone,

after successfully obtaining my French Baccalauréat and a Bachelor's Degree in Cinema (Licence) with High Honors, I am currently working at the Institut Français in Duesseldorf, where I did a seminar to become examiner for the French DELF tests. I also work with schools and promote this language to a young public, and therefore developed a high pedagogical quality during this last year.

I am therefore ready to help you in all your needs with this language, which can be quite tough sometimes (think about pronounciation and exceptions to the rules), and which I struggled myself to learn before obtaining a high professional level.

I can prepare you with strategies to understand the structure of the national test and help you successfully pass it, but I can also encourage you to "unblock" your language skills with chill conversation sessions, or more rigorous grammar explanation, while sharing with my suggestions to embrace this enriching culture (be it with films, books, music or art).

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
