1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,

Hulp nodig bij wiskunde of biologie? Als biomedisch wetenschapper met een doctoraat in geneeskunde en gezondheidswetenschappen, help ik graag jong en oud om de leerstof beter te begrijpen en met meer vertrouwen te leren. We werken op jouw tempo en op een manier die bij jou past.

Hoe verloopt een les?
Tijdens de eerste sessie bekijken we samen waar de grootste moeilijkheden liggen. Van daaruit bouwen we stapsgewijs verder. Ik moedig aan om veel vragen te stellen en geef praktische tips en strategieën om efficiënter te leren.

We maken samen oefeningen, bespreken voorbeelden en werken daarna met extra uitdagingen om het inzicht te verdiepen. Zo zorg ik ervoor dat je goed voorbereid bent op je toets of examens.

Een positieve leerervaring
Leren mag best aangenaam zijn. Met een geduldige, motiverende en duidelijke aanpak zorg ik voor een ontspannen sfeer waarin fouten maken mag en geen enkele vraag te veel is. Want daar leer je juist het meest van.

Je propose des cours particuliers de mathématiques pour tous les niveaux du secondaire (de la première à la dernière année) jusqu’au niveau universitaire (bachelier).

Ingénieur en informatique et mathématiques appliquées (doctorat en mathématiques appliquées), je poursuis actuellement un Master en mathématiques. J’ai également complété la formation pédagogique (agrégation) et enseigné les mathématiques au Collège Saint-Pierre (Uccle) ainsi que dans deux Écoles européennes, en français.

Je dispose du certificat officiel me permettant d’enseigner en français. Bien que néerlandophone, je peux donc enseigner sans difficulté en français (et également en anglais).

Mon objectif n’est pas seulement d’aider à résoudre des exercices, mais de faire comprendre réellement les mathématiques. J’accorde une attention particulière à la structure du raisonnement, à la clarté des explications et à la progression étape par étape.

J’aide notamment les élèves et étudiants qui :
– souhaitent consolider leurs bases
– manquent de confiance en mathématiques
– préparent un examen ou une transition vers le supérieur
– veulent approfondir leur compréhension

Ma méthode repose sur une explication simple, rigoureuse et adaptée au niveau de l’étudiant, ainsi que sur des exercices soigneusement choisis afin de développer autonomie, confiance et méthode de travail.
