Hello My Name is Matthias. I am a Professional Dancer from Amsterdam. So talking Dutch won ́t be any problem for me. I have dedicated my life to dancing. This great passion and life I wanna share with you. With years of experience I know how to get you from a beginner to an intermediate dance in no time. I am very enthusiastic but also patient. I can adjust the class to your level and your wishes or expectations.

I have had dance Choreo Education in Fuerte Ventura. Then from there I danced in Amsterdam and had high level teachers. Now I teach myself In Euphoria DC. I am also part of both Show teams.

In the Introduction class I will first have a conversation with you to see if there is a connection and if I can help you achieve your goals. Think of goals like losing weight, gaining muscle mass or feeling fitter. Then I will make a movement analysis to see where you are at this moment. We will also do a little sports.

You will learn how to show your emotions through movements to best inspire the audience and enjoy. We will work on rhythm, tempo (which are two different things), creativity, improvisation techniques and theatrical performance (if interested). I do not like to work genre-based (for instance only hip-hop, or only classical music), but we will practice what you like the most. However, my strengths are rather in contemporary and modern style, hip hop, breakdance, belly dancing, and Persian dance. We can also specialize in one of these if you are interested.
