Hi! I’m a native Chinese speaker from southeast china (Changzhou city, Jiangsu Province, near Shanghai) and i have been in Zurich for master degree since fall 2023. I can teach in both chinese and english.

For beginners: I am happy to bring you to the chinese world! I am always responsible, friendly and patient.
For advanced learners: If you're interested in learning business-oriented Mandarin, I’d be happy to tailor lessons for that. With professional experience in China, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Zurich — mostly in finance, project management, and business-related fields — I bring strong business Chinese communication skills to the table.

Korean class for anyone who is interested in Korean language, culture and K-pop!📚
-90 minutes each class⏱.
-Classes will be in English or Spanish.
-Sometimes there will be a korean food's day on which you can try them!
-5 years of experience in teaching Korean.

I go through Spanish through cultural topics, gastronomy, music, geography, and politics. After learning English as a second language, I know how important is to approach a language you ́ll like to embrace into your life, from different perspectives.

We can read and follow a book, or practice general practical conversation.

I'm a Confucius Institute (the ONLY globally recognized official institution for teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages) certified Mandarin teacher.

I'm also an official YCT (Youth Chinese Test)/ HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test)/ HSKK (Chinese Proficiency Spoken Test) test examiner.

In addition to giving private lessons, I also teach Chinese at international schools and lead Mandarin immersion Spielgruppe (playgroup) in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. My speciality is teaching children between the age of 2.5 and 12 in an immersive and interactive learning environment. By means of guided game-playing, painting, story-reading, drama activities, song-singing, dancing, and handcraft-making, kids achieve organic language acquisition while having a lot of fun.

The predominant features you will find in my class are tailor-made teaching materials and methods that are customized to best suit your specific study objectives (Preschooler Chinese, K-12 Chinese, YCT, HSK, Beginner Chinese, Conversational Chinese, Business Chinese...etc.).

As a language learner myself (B.A. major in Spanish and currently studying German), I have great patience and willingness to help you on your journey towards Chinese proficiency, because I know how frustrating it could get at times. Being in the shoes of a linguistics student for years also enables me to better instruct you, as I understand very well what are the things a learner would find helpful.

I'm from Switzerland but I spent most of last year in Brazil, where I was doing research for my PhD in history and where I was once again in the position of learning a foreign language – a valuable experience for any language teacher. Languages are my passion, whether learning or teaching them.

I have over 10 years of experience in teaching German as a foreign language on the most diverse level, in language schools, high schools and even a prison. Thus I can offer tailor-made individual classes. The pillar of my practice-based method is that the students use the language on topics and situations that are really important for them, be it daily-life situations or specific topics they need vocabulary for. Of course, grammar explanation and practice is important, too. And there is also a place for fun, through learning games, German songs etc.
