I believe that learning a language can be fun, so I will do my best to find a way to make Spanish interesting for you.

I will structure the lessons based on the individual needs and interests of the student. We can discuss any topic of your interest, and we can use it to improve grammar, pronunciation, and learn new vocabulary. No matter your level of Spanish, I will adapt the class for you. I can also provide you with feedback on your most common mistakes at the end of the class so you can be more aware of them.

You have chosen to play the most wonderful instrument there is. I have been playing the cello for almost two decades and I can tell you it is a beautiful and rewarding journey, and I would not be where I am today without a group of extraordinary teachers and mentors that have been with me along the way and shared their wisdom and experience with me. Now it is my turn to share. I have been teaching for a few years and I love watching my students develop, enjoy the cello, learn new things, and become better at expressing themselves in the universal language of music. Whether you are a complete beginner or an intermediate/advanced level player, I would be happy to offer my guidance and perspective on anything you want to work on and improve. Studio Policy
This policy is in place to protect the student, the parent of the student, and the teacher and serves to ensure that lessons run smoothly.

Lessons/Payment:
Students may enroll in lessons at any time. Lessons will take place at the teacher’s studio in Vienna, Austria. Online lessons are facilitated using Skype/Facetime/Zoom.
Tuition is paid monthly and is calculated by multiplying the lesson rate by 4 weeks (3 or 5 weeks for certain months). Additional lessons are allowed based on the teacher’s availability. If I am traveling for a big portion of the month, I will let you know in advance, so that the tuition for that month is multiplied by the number of weeks I will be at home.
Single lessons in the form of a consultation or master class are available if you are not ready to commit to a monthly package.
If you have special circumstances that prevent you from taking weekly lessons or traveling to my studio, please contact me directly and I will do my best to accommodate your situation.
Tuition is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the first lesson of each month. Tuition is payable through Apprentus. For the consultation/single lesson, a one-time lesson fee is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson. Your timely payment serves as a confirmation of our time agreement. If I do not hear from you nor get the payment at least 24 hours before the lesson, I reserve the right to reschedule and/or cancel the scheduled lesson.

Tardiness:
The student will contact the teacher by phone if they expect to be late for a scheduled lesson. If a student arrives after their scheduled lesson time has begun, the teacher will complete the lesson in the remaining portion of the time slot. Additional time for student tardiness is not guaranteed.
If the teacher arrives after a scheduled lesson has begun, the teacher will give additional time past the time slot to compensate for their tardiness with mutual acceptance of the student’s schedule.

Rescheduling/Cancellations:
Students must cancel/reschedule lessons by phone or email with at least 24-hour notice. Cancellations are considered excused for illness, family emergency, or severe weather (public school closures). Excused cancellations with sufficient notification will be given a make-up lesson within the month or lesson credit towards the following month. No-shows, cancellations without sufficient notification, or unexcused cancellations will not be given make-up lessons or lesson credits.
The teacher may need to cancel a lesson due to illness or a family emergency and/or reschedule due to performance engagements or planned vacations. In this case, the teacher will provide a make-up lesson within the month or apply a lesson credit towards the following month. If desired, the make-up lesson can also be taken online via Skype.
If a student cancels a re-scheduled make-up lesson, the lesson will be considered forfeited. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. If a make-up lesson is not possible, a lesson credit will be applied toward the following month.

Copyright/class recordings:
Lessons and seminars are considered intellectual property and may not be recorded (audio or video). The teacher is legally protected in case of a breach of this agreement.
The teacher is entitled to immediate termination of the lesson/package without a refund if this rule is broken.
The teacher is entitled to legal action in case of copyright infringement.
Parental Involvement for younger students:
I do not teach children below the age of 10 via Skype as they require hands-on work to form correct playing habits and posture.
Students 10 years and younger must have a parent or guardian present at the lesson. The parent will take notes and act as the student’s “home teacher”. Parental involvement is welcomed and strongly encouraged for all students, but not required for students 10 years and older.

Das Ziel meiner Nachhilfe ist nicht nur rein zu unterrichten, sondern auch Motivation für das Fach zu zeigen und weiterzugeben!
Falls ihr Schwierigkeiten in einem bestimmten Themengebiet habt, Unterstützung bei Hausaufgaben benötigt oder euch auf eine Prüfung bzw. die Matura vorbereitet seid ihr bei mir genau richtig. Ich gebe Nachhilfe in Deutsch, Englisch und Biologie und würde mein Wissen und meine Begeisterung in diesen Fächern gerne weitergeben. Meine Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen in diesen Gebieten findet ihr weiter unten auf meinem Profil.

Unterrichtszeiten: Generell bin ich sehr flexibel. Ich bin mir also sicher, dass wir schnell eine passende Zeit aushandeln können.
Unterrichtsort: Ab März kann ich ebenfalls zum Schüler bzw. zur Schülerin nach Hause kommen - am besten Nähe 7. Bezirk (die Zeiten werden bis dahin noch aktualisiert bzw. können ausgehandelt werden). Allerdings bevorzuge ich unter den gegebenen Umständen den Online-Unterricht. Dieser ist jederzeit möglich - also einfach eine Nachricht schicken und wir machen uns eine Zeit aus.

I'm a highly qualified and experienced translator and a language teacher for German and Hungarian. Being a translator and a polyglot enables me to see languages and their grammar systems from a different angle than 'regular' German native speakers or school teachers. Based on my training and my regional expertise I also provide a variety of language support services for German.

I have taught both in the private sector and in numerous language schools, adults and children of different ages. I can offer German to B2 level since I live and work in Vienna for more than 20 years now. I came here to study and made my Bachelor's degree in Transcultural Communication and a Master's degree in Translation and Terminology Sciences at the University of Vienna then settled down with a good man and built a family. I also have a teaching qualification for 'German as a Foreign Language' from the University of Kassel in Germany, and didactic training on the renowned BERLITZ-method for 'Native Speaker Language Teachers'. Usually, I work from home, where I have a vast library of teaching resources such as worksheets, textbooks, picture dictionaries, flashcards, games, and lots of books for Beginners with Hungarian-German-English parallel texts, short stories for Easy Readers, etc.

I use varying tutoring approaches, because no two learners are alike, whereby enjoyment is an important factor in my lessons. I very much like to use the latest technology and teaching techniques, but also have an extensive compilation of German-language games, cards, songs, short stories, videos. I'm fond of and really appreciate internet sources to teach German, for I do believe that learning German can be fun. I aim to foster a friendly but professional relationship with each of my students, to build their confidence and self-belief when they learn a new language. German can be an extremely challenging language and as an experienced German tutor, I really can help you learn it.

Klavierunterricht in Wien für AnfängerInnen und Fortgeschrittene! Ich teile seit über 7 Jahren mein Wissen als Klavierlehrerin.

In meinem Klavierunterricht arbeite ich gemeinsam mit meinen SchülerInnen an einem breiten Repertoire, das von klassischen Werken bis hin zu Pop- und Filmmusik reicht.
