I specialize in tutoring secondary school students in English language and literature, particularly students from international schools. I am familiar with the IB-programme and similiar programmes. However, exceptions can be made for other students.

I am fluent in both Dutch and English, so tutoring in either language would not be an issue from me. I would prefer to tutor in the area where I live, but exceptions can always be made. Travel costs are not included in the hourly price.

The aim of this course is to increase fluency, confidence, use of language and pronunciation in order to improve your language skills.

I offer explanations of Grammatical topics, expansion of vocabulary and tips for pronunciation in order to improve the ability to be understood!

The best way to know a language is through exposition, therefore only English will be spoken in class.

Whatever level of confidence and competence you have in public speaking, there's always room for improvement. Whether you want to focus on how your body language says just as much as your words, work humour and ease into an otherwise stiff delivery, or just get to the end and have your audience take away your key message, I can help you.

I work in English, but also speak fluent Dutch, so we can switch back and forth if necessary. I can either plan a series of sessions, or you can come to me with specific goals to work on. I can give you homework, or for those with little time, we can simply work in the sessions themselves.

I am a TEFL-certified English teacher who is excited to help you achieve all of the goals you have set for yourself on the journey of learning English. I combine elements of traditional methodologies with some less traditional methods and approaches that I have extracted from my own experience with learning, as I am someone who speaks several different languages and am therefore very familiar with this process and what it takes to get better at a new language.
