Hello everyone! This is Eren. I am 25 years old. I am a Turkish drummer/producer, graduated from the Utrecht Conservatorium Jazz&Pop Drums department. I am actively playing in 3 bands, and have good experience for my age. I really would like to share my knowledge and experience with you! I will use the stuff that my teachers gave me in the conservatory, and my own techniques in the lessons. Any level is welcome! I can also help with music theory, ear training, solfege and music production in Ableton(basics of ableton, MIDI, audio recordings, mixing&mastering). We will play, learn, talk, have fun, even sometimes get bored but at the end I will make you a good drummer!

Hello everyone,

This is Eren, and I am a drummer/music producer, graduated from the HKU Conservatorium Jazz&Pop Drums department. I see that you would like to learn, or get deeper into music production. You are at the right place!

According to your intentions and needs, we will create a detailed lesson plan together, including week by week topics, assignments and music listening sessions. As a musician on the first place, I can help you to "understand" how production works, and not just ask you to learn some templates to produce. We will dive deep into the relationship between musicality and production. Most importantly, we WILL have fun!

Lesson is given on location or at home (if you have a drum kit), and your first lesson is always free, because you have to be able to determine if you like drumming and you want me as a teacher.

Drum lessons (giving) is always fun and educational. You learn in addition to technique (the correct (sitting) posture, stick control and the 'rudiments' basic patterns such as the familiar 'roffel' (double-stroke-roll) and the 'paradiddle' - also the importance of counting, dynamics, reading notes and timing After all, you will all need them if you want to continue (with a band or just for yourself).

- How long does it take before I become a drummer?
Two answers: a few hours, and a lifetime. You will see that you can play nice things in no time, but also that top drummers in the world, such as Phil Collins, Cesar Zuiderwijk, Dave Lombardo or Simon Phillips, learn new things every day (and happy).

- Am I too old to start?
You're never too old,
- Do I have a sense of rhythm?
You can learn rhythm feeling. I have NOT been able to teach anyone. - Is there a best drummer in the world?
It is about fun, and there is no podium or medal, only thousands of colleagues who are doing very well.

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time!

I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing.

I started playing the piano when I was 8 years old. By that time I already could feel I would become a professional musician and teacher. I got my first bachelor in piano in 2007. When I was 13 years old, I started having harpsichord lessons and expanding my knowledge of classical and early music. In 2012 I got my bachelor degree in harpsichord and in 2014 my master degree at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. Currently, I’m working with my ensemble, teaching piano and harpsichord, and am now doing my Ph.D. in Performative Arts at Leiden University

I absolutely love to teach and pass my experience as a musician to my students on both instruments. I like to see them improving and have fun while playing.
I work with several ways of teaching, depending on the student level and music background.

Normally I work with piano methods with kids from 9 -12 years old. I can teach music theory if necessary and if it will improve the student’s needs to progress and reach their goals, I do that with pleasure. Harmony and a bit of keyboard improvisation are also very welcome to the class.

My specialty is classical music, more specifically, baroque music, although I have notions of pop, jazz, and improvisation. Because I have sporting and personal training backgrounds, I’m specialized also on correcting postures and eventually avoid or solve pain issues when regarding playing.

I graduated 2 years ago at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and I offer both violin and viola lessons to all ages and levels in The Hague and surroundings.
I am originally Spanish but I can teach in English and French as well.

I'm a classical clarinetist, I have two masters (recently graduated at Codarts) and different experience in orchestra, chamber music and teaching! My name is Carla Peña and I come from Barcelona. Since I was a child, music has played an important role in my life. I started learning music when I was 4 years old and cello when at the age of 6. I discovered my love for music and that is what I share with my students.
I have around 15 pupils of all levels and ages and I teach at my own studio (De Constant Rebecquestraat 3) or at your place!

FIRST LESSON:
The first lesson consists of getting to know each other. This is essential to choose the best teaching approach. All the students are unique, that is why I always choose the method that adapts better to your needs. Then, we elaborate a personal plan, depending on your level, expectations, practice time, and taste.

TECHNIQUE:
Learning the proper technique of the instrument is very important to avoid injuries and to be able to express ourselves and perform our musical ideas in a successful way. That is why we learn nice songs in different styles, depending on your taste (from classical to jazz, film music, pop, etc.) and we combine it with cello method books with progressive exercises to improve the cello knowledge.
In the case of young beginners, we also play cello games during the lesson to make the learning experience dynamic and fun! Children can lose attention and get bored very quickly!

Playing together is an essential part of enjoying music. Therefore, the last part of the lesson always consists of playing cello duets and having fun!

ABOUT ME:

I studied my Bachelor in Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, with professor Amparo Lacruz. Then, I decided to continue my studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the class of Michel Strauss and Jan-Ype Nota.
During my studies in The Hague, I did a teaching internship at the Royal Conservatory as a part of their Minor in Music Education. I also taught in several Music Schools during my studies in Spain.
Currently, I teach private students in The Hague and I created a cultural center in The Hague called Pandora Studio.
I play regularly in two chamber music ensembles: Trio Jakob and Azalaïs Quartet.

I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making.

I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces.

Lessons in 6 languages! With more than 200 students through all my life, more than 500 shows (mostly in Spain but also around Europe and a couple of minitours in America), 15 CDs/EP/singles published (as a frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor in jazz-modern music guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in piano jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional music career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I've come from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the latin master at Codarts.

I've been working as a music teacher for around 12 years (I'm 29 years old), both doing private lessons and in different music schools, being the most important one the “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the biggest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was the Head of the Modern Music Department.

I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, musical production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare themselves for the music bachelor. I can adapt totally to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, since I have a lot of experience, I have the lessons well planned, I know which songs and exercises work better depending on the aspect that we want to work (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone playing I can see in which aspects is the person strong, and in which aspects has the person more problems, so that way you won't waste your time! Also I'm a fun and very empathetic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!!

I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the classes in one of these languages.

The lessons can take place in my home (Maashaven metro station) where I have a nice setup, online or in your home.

My name is Abraham, and I’m a third year jazz piano student at Codarts Rotterdam. I have been playing for 14 years, most of which were spent in classical music. I teach all levels and styles (classical, pop, jazz, etc.). It can be with or without theory, depending on what you prefer. The duration of the lessons is flexible and three locations are possible (apart from your house, if you prefer that): Kruisplein, 3012 CC, Willem Buytewechstraat, 3024 BP, or Essenburgsingel, 3022 EM.
