Hi! I'm Adriano, a certified CEDILS teacher with over five years of experience, born and raised in Rome.
In addition to Italian, I speak English, French, Spanish, and a bit of Chinese — so I know firsthand the challenges (and the joys!) of learning a new language.

My passion? Turning lessons into cultural journeys.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.

I grew up abroad, studied in English, and have always worked in English-speaking environments. Over the years, I’ve led teams, coached individuals, and offered private sessions on various topics — including conversational English.
