I'm TESOL/ CELTA-certified and have experience teaching students of different levels, backgrounds, and ages (from young learners to professionals). I teach General English (ESL and conversational English), test preparations (IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC), Academic English (IGCSE and IB), and Business English.

My classes are designed to help you with exactly what you need. Depending on your specific goals, we can focus on any of the four major skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I can also help you with the other skills such as pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and spelling. Hi! My name is Jessy. I've been an English teacher since 2007 and have a Cambridge CELTA (TESOL) certification. I have a degree in Business Marketing and currently working on my AB English degree. Through many years of teaching, I've learned different ways to help students with their goals.

For me, teaching English is a great way to connect with and influence students in a positive way. It's fulfilling to not only help them learn the language practically, but also have fun in the process. I know how difficult learning another language can be. So a big goal of my classes is for students to have a great time while learning. It's easier to learn when a class is dynamic and stress-free.

Opleiding

I took my first degree (BS Business Administration major in Marketing) in the Philippines from 2005 to 2009 at the University of Rizal System.

I'm currently working on my AB English degree at AMA University and will start my master soon after.
