Über mich

I started playing the guitar when I was a teenager and my country was ravaged by war. It was then my only escape, my salvation and my freedom. As an adult, I remained passionate about this instrument and not a day goes by that I do not play.

Since coming to Switzerland, I have had the privilege of teaching guitar to many people, including students of various backgrounds, my own kids and friends, to learn and enjoy the instrument.

With a flexible schedule and a commitment to making myself available, I enjoy creating a relaxed, supportive environment where students of all ages can develop their skills at their own pace. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your technique, I'm here to help you on your musical journey.

I earned my music diploma in my home country, a challenging yet rewarding experience that deepened my understanding of music. However, the greatest knowledge I’ve gained has been through working with experienced professionals, which has shaped my growth as a musician and teacher. With over 30 years of experience playing guitar and 20 years of teaching, I’ve had the opportunity to share my passion for music with students of all ages. I’ve performed in several bands both in my home country and abroad, playing in public and private venues. My expertise spans a wide variety of styles, including classical, fingerstyle, world music, and pop rock—though these are my personal favorites. A lifelong student of music, I bring both professional performance experience and a deep love for the art to every lesson, helping students explore the guitar and find their own musical voice.

Good mood and guaranteed progress A typical session:

A session lasts 60 minutes. Time to work on the fundamentals of the instrument:
- Tune the guitar
- Adopt a good posture
- Read a score, tablature and / or music theory
- Play melodies, chords and arpeggios
- Work pieces
- Learn notions of rhythm and harmony
