I like to work hard at what I do and be intentional with the ways I approach problems. I love to collaborate with others in whatever setting I find myself in; be it writing an academic thesis or playing for a soccer team, I thrive in settings where I can interact freely with others and build off our shared ideas.

In my free time, I like to read, watch Spanish television, and spend time outside with friends. I love to rock climb, ice climb, ski, and run, and I have completed multiple ultra-marathons in Patagonia and the United States. I hope to do all of these things while I am in Spain!

I have taught both English and Spanish to college students, high schoolers, and children alike for the past four years, and I am excited to share those skills with you. Learning a language is a lifelong endeavor, and I firmly believe that conversing with others in their native tongue is one of the most surefire ways to establish connections across cultures. I am half Austrian, half English and can help you improve your conversation skills in both of these languages. Depending on your language level, we will start with basic every day conversations. Further on, we will read book excerpts or newspaper-articles (or whatever interests you) on different topics and discuss them, thus learning new vocabulary and important expressions.
