Beginner Guitar Lessons! For Students of All Ages!

Introduction to guitar in a fun and pressure-free environment!
In my lessons we will:
-Familiarize ourselves with the neck of the guitar
-Learn major and minor chords
-Learn major, minor, and blues scales
-Learn songs suited to each student's individual playing levels
-Learn effective practicing techniques
-Build a repertoire of increasing level as students progress over time
-Build improvisation skills
-Have fun exploring the vast world of sound and music!

Hello,
I am Tristan, I am 27 years old and I have been playing music for over 20 years. I have a unique and broad understanding of music that has stemmed from multiple facets including my participation in music throughout my public education, my formal music education from UNM, my ongoing involvement in musical theatre, and my personal endeavors in music composition and performance.
I believe that music has a powerful way of bringing people together and I'm passionate about using it to communicate, teach, and empower people of all levels and ages.

Trumpet is an instrument that is great for beginning musicians of any age! Together we will begin to explore the world of sound and music through the trumpet. We will learn how to hold and play on the trumpet, how read music, and eventually learn how to play your favorite songs!
