About Me

I have been working as a musician and teacher for 10 years and pride myself on the huge variety of music-related jobs this has involved. I have so much experience in the music industry and the academic music world. I have two degrees from Cambridge University so can provide excellent tuition on academic music and essay writing, and my masters degree from the Royal College of Music in London set me up to be an excellent singing teacher with a focus on vocal health and versatility. I am a professional classical soprano, and competent grade 8+ pianist.

I think that music is one of the most multi-dimensional and diverse subjects, and I hope to help every single one of my students to find a part of it that they enjoy and understand. It's a subject for everyone, regardless of their experience or education.

I am a freelance opera, platform and choral singer (Roles include Tamino [magic flute] Nemorino [l'elisir d'amor] and Don Ottavio [Don Giovanni] alongside many world premiers). We offer Singing Lessons to all ages and levels of ability with our enthusiastic, professional teachers. Our lessons are available at two locations in Crouch End (N8) and Thursdays in Crouch End and Mayfair (W1K).

With a sound vocal technique, our singers are encouraged to try as many styles of singing as possible. We have jazz, folk, classical, contemporary, and musical workshops for our students.

Our singers enjoy learning in our spacious, welcoming rooms and have many opportunities to sing in our choirs, productions, jazz and other workshops throughout the year.

Lessons can be for your own pleasure or we can also prepare you for the graded examinations or auditions.

I encourage my students to develop healthy singing habits, while combining this with language coaching, interpretation and performance skills. I also work regularly with singers for audition preparation, industry professionals and also in vocal rehabilitation.
