Obtaining the knowledge of drumming trough personalised ways and exciting energy.
You would be given a spectrum of knowledge - from basics to complicated stuff, from written out music to improvisation. We will cover technique and playing in different styles, but we will mainly work on firm control and give freedom to your own expression.
Listening to examples of music we try to imitate and learning about them is an important part, so we will spend time on that too.
I will also teach and provide you with reading material, meaning notes, organised in music pieces.

Über mich

I'm a drummer and a song writer from Slovenia. Music has been my passion for 20 years now. As a person, I am talkative, thoughtful and sociable. After many experiences as a performer and teacher, I recently graduated from Jazz music studies at Prins Clause Conservatoire in Groningen.
Sharing the knowledge of playing the drums, the ways I obtained it and discussion on all the aspects of music is something I find both important and pleasurable. Teaching has been in my family and it was always approached with love towards the topic and clarity in giving the knowledge to others.
One of the most important things I learned trough years of teaching students from 6 to 40 years of age is adjustability to both student as an individual and lesson. I don't insist on methods as if they apply to everyone in the same way, but rather find way to share the most crucial knowledge trough comparisons and an all together fun time.

I have been giving guitar lessons since 2007 with great pleasure. In addition to these private lessons, I worked at the Guitar Academy in Amsterdam, at Muziekles Den Bosch and at Art in Music in Utrecht, next to my work as an executive musician. I studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg and Musicology at Utrecht University. Broad interests, reflected in the hoevelheid styles I play and education (from pop and rock to salsa, tango and gypsy to metal and jazz). I also give solfège and music theory.
It does not matter how exotic your interest, I can help you get better! In addition, I can choose and arrange songs for you, so that there is no limit to your imagination: learn to play what you want to learn to play.

These lessons are not given in a large, impersonal music school: lesson duration and lesson dates are discussed and are flexible. Personal and smooth, easier for everyone. Besides guitar enthusiast teaching is a big passion of mine, and I think that is essential to be able to offer good lessons. Whether I teach you how to play your first songs in a few lessons, or whether we are going to pick up some tough pieces, it is a pleasant and productive learning process. The content of the lessons

All styles are covered at Musiclab. Think of blues, jazz, classical, pop, rock, et cetera. These diverse genres are played on classical, western (acoustic) and electric guitar. Bass guitar can also be practiced.

Learning to read notes and tabs are an integral part of the lesson. However, improvisation can also be part of this. In the technical field, chord playing, scales, arpeggios and various playing techniques such as hammer-ons, pull-offs and tapping are discussed. Theory can also be taught in preparation for vocational music education.

Lessons at Musiclab are intended for the serious guitarist or bassist who has time to practice at home. Musiclab is flexible and offers various options on different days and times to follow the lessons. This is particularly useful for people with varying working hours and / or pupils / students.

Looking for a piano teacher? In Utrecht you will find the friendly Spanish professional pianist Mar. She lives in Utrecht and studies at the Rotterdam Codarts Conservatory of Music, and has already a master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory (with pedagogical training as well)
She teaches in English, Spanish, Italian, German and soon in Dutch. Lessons can take place at your place or at my place (in the centre of Utrecht) as I have a beautiful grand piano at my disposal. For young, teenagers and adults, all levels, no previous experience necessary.

I have been working for 12 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): I have experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both teaching individually and in groups. I have taught piano, music and movement for children, music theory, solfeggio and choir.

I finished my bachelor studies with the highest marks, I have experience as a concert performer and have won prizes in competitions and several scholarships prizes.

I offer a holistic, well-rounded music education for all ages and abilities. The training I provide is tailored towards the students personal learning objectives and goals, some of these include solo performance, improvisation, playing in an ensemble and composition.

My approach combines conventional and alternative teaching methods, such as reading music, playing by ear, solfeggio, the suzuki method and mindfulness. The three aspects I prioritize in my lessons are imagination, experimentation and creativity.

My method focuses on understanding and expanding the students' musical capacities by means of an integrative approach that includes physical training, technique and comprehension.

My flute lessons are available in a flexible time frame from 30 minutes to 1 hour, with a frequency of weekly or biweekly, depending on your preference. As a graduated flutist with a bachelor and master degree from the conservatory, where teaching was an important part of my education, I have experience with both group lessons and individual lessons. My method is focused on enthusiasm for music and flute playing, where I welcome every student, regardless of background, language or level. Everyone is welcome to start their musical journey with me!
