I create a learning experience (content and pace) adapted to your needs: speaking fluently, DELF/ DALF test preparation, conversations to help with travel or relocation or simply the pleasure of talking about subjects you are interested in. We can have our lessons in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying various aspects of learning a language. It's not just about memorizing complex conjugations!

I work with a variety of online resources, all of which is shared with you after the lesson. For structure and to evaluate progress, I also work with certain books depending on the level and the requirement. Unless you wish to focus on specific skills, I try to include speaking, listening and reading during the session, while writing exercises are given as homework. Grammar points are handled as and when they come up.

Mi nombre es Laurie y soy profesora FLE independiente, graduada en Lenguas y Literaturas Francesas y Románicas desde 2012. Tengo ocho años de experiencia a mis espaldas (en el extranjero y en Bélgica). Creé un método de aprendizaje para cursos en línea. Preparo a los alumnos para exámenes DELF, DALF, TCF, FIDE, exámenes de admisión, etc. durante varios años.

El curso incluye:
-El material (artículos, vídeos, ejercicios basados en imágenes y textos, teoría gramatical, enlaces a los ejercicios, etc.). Yo uso google doc, por lo que lo ideal es tener una dirección de gmail para poder acceder.
-Corrección de ejercicios fuera del curso (las expresiones escritas se corrigen fuera del curso, o con el alumno, según sus necesidades).
-Acceso a una aplicación (gratuita) para estudiar vocabulario en tu smartphone.
-Una hoja de vocabulario - pronunciación - gramática/conjugación, enviada después de cada lección.
-Si es necesario, una grabación del vocabulario (para principiantes).
-Realización de ejercicios y tests online basados en las fichas de vocabulario enviadas.
-Motivación, risas, buen humor :-)

Mi método:
-Es de base oral.
-Para la gramática, utilizo un método particular que permite automatizar las estructuras orales.
-Trabajamos la pronunciación con el método verbotonal (ejercicios para posar la voz, para el ritmo, etc.). ¡Incluso podría hacerte cantar! :-)
-Todo pasa por el oral antes de pasar por el escrito pero obviamente me adapto a las necesidades de los alumnos.
-El curso es un poco diferente para niños y adolescentes: uso juegos interactivos y tarjetas a través de la cámara web.

J'aime utiliser différentes méthodes pour enseigner le français aux étudiants. Cela peut être à travers des chansons, du théâtre, des jeux de rôle ou des vidéos. J'utilise aussi très souvent des situations proches de l'expérience de l'élève, comme décrire des endroits où il a été ou parler de ce qu'il a vécu. En même temps, j'enseigne les règles de grammaire à l'élève. Je vis maintenant dans des régions où le français est parlé depuis plus de 30 ans. Parce que j'ai moi-même appris le français ( et j’apprends encore d'autres langues), je peux facilement me mettre à la place d'un étudiant. Je peux enseigner en français, néerlandais, anglais, allemand et russe.

In deze les zullen we elkaar eerst een beetje leren kennen, je kunt mij vertellen wat je verwacht/wilt in een les, of wat je specifiek nodig hebt. Stap voor stap zorg ik dat jij als student/studente de Nederlandse taal gaat beheersen. My name is Daniel. I was raised bilingual with the Dutch and Portuguese language. I can also communicate well in English.

I have actively worked with these languages both during my education and at work and in my private life. Switching between these 3 languages is no problem for me. I have been teaching since 2019 for various schools as well as privately.

From my own experience I have experienced how lost you can sometimes feel as a person in a foreign language environment. Therefore, I give tutoring / language lessons Dutch -and Portuguese to (still) non-Dutch/Portuguese speaking persons. I have the possibility to teach online.

My focus is on communication and fluency, so that the student will quickly feel at home within the new (language) environment and will be able to express himself. Different teaching materials can be used during the lesson, according to the needs and level of the student.

Heeft jouw kind moeite met een bepaald vak of wil hij/zij extra oefenen voor de doorstroomtoets, CITO of IEP? Misschien is leren lastig door ADHD, dyslexie of een ander leerprobleem. Ik help graag om jouw kind weer met meer zelfvertrouwen te laten leren!

Na jaren als groepsleerkracht (groep 1 t/m 8) te hebben gewerkt geef ik nu online begeleiding en bijles aan leerlingen die net dat beetje extra hulp nodig hebben. Met mijn ervaring en vakkennis bied ik persoonlijke ondersteuning bij verschillende vakken en help ik kinderen goed voorbereid naar de middelbare school.

Persoonlijk
Elke les is 100% afgestemd op het niveau, de (leer)behoefte en de leerstijl van de leerling: spelenderwijs, met meer herhaling of juist veel afwisseling. Jij als ouder blijft altijd betrokken: na elke les ontvang je een korte terugkoppeling en we bespreken regelmatig de voortgang.

Deskundig
Tijdens - en vooral ook na - mijn jaren als groepsleerkracht in het basisonderwijs heb ik veel (vak)didactische en pedagogische kennis opgedaan. Mijn aanpak is theoretisch onderbouwd. Ik werk met gestructureerde materialen, ben op de hoogte van de verschillende lesmethodes die op school gebruikt worden en blijf zelf ook leren.

Visueel
Veel kinderen begrijpen en onthouden beter als ze het kunnen zien. Vaak helpt een schema, een tekening of een afbeelding heel erg om iets te begrijpen. Door middel van 'visual thinking' worden dingen inzichtelijk en onthoud je het ook beter! In mijn online lessen delen we daarom samen een virtueel whiteboard, waar we allebei aantekeningen op kunnen maken.

Volgens het principe Leren Zichtbaar Maken neem ik leerlingen mee in hun leerproces. Samen zoeken we uit welke leerdoelen al goed gaan en welke nog niet zijn behaald. Ik maak een plan van aanpak met daarin gerichte oefeningen, strategieën en ondersteuning, afgestemd op de behoeften van je kind. Aan het begin van elke les bespreken we aan welke doelen we gaan werken en gedurende de les kijken we daarop terug.
