I will teach the basis of poetry including different types of poems, why they are used, and how to effectively write a poem. Classes will be both analyses of famous poetry and the creation of your own pieces. I will ask students to bring poems they enjoy to the class occasionally so that I can keep them interested. This class is perfect for everyone from absolute beginners to novice poets.
