I have been an independent tutor for just over 6 years now. I recognise the strength behind developing my student's own academic interests and aim to kindle these interests by engaging them in a way that suits them. As well as bolstering my student's knowledge of their subject content, I develop students' time management and general exam technique, as these factors are vital in securing top grades. I have experience tutoring students from primary school age through to GCSEs and A Levels. I have helped students pass 11+ and 13+ exams, securing places in selective schools and have also helped students to surpass their predicted grades; achieving 100% A* - B and more recently, 100% 9-7 results. I have worked as an SEN Learning Support Assistant in a comprehensive school and with this experience, I am also suited to work with children facing a wide range of barriers to learning and ensure that they reach their full potential.
