I am an experienced Primary School teacher, who has recently left full time teaching in order to devote more of my time to my tutees. Specialising in 11 Plus, Primary school level Maths and English, in my tutoring approach, I like building a dialogue with my pupils which allows them to enjoy and take ownership of their learning. Once targets are identified, I put together lesson plans that will cater to my pupil's needs and learning style. At the core of my practice lies keeping my students engaged and passionate about learning. I succeed in this through the use of interactive resources, varying tasks, scaffolding and discussion. Over the years, my Eleven Plus students have been offered places in a range of Grammar, Independent and other selective schools. Thus, I have experience with a range of testing systems (GL, CEM, ISEB, Kent and more).
