If you have any health issues that may affect your voice I can give you advice and guidance, special exercises , yoga routines etc - having suffered myself from GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease) and a resulting small vocal node in the past, and having dealt with various health issues - despite which I have managed to still work as a singer!

- Develop your technique without losing your own unique sound.
- Extend your range to at least 3 octaves (sometimes even 4!)
- Breath control and control of your entire range.
- Sing in a variety of techniques and styles- become a versatile singer!

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.
My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.
As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs.

My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music.

Diplômée d'un Master 2 de piano soliste au Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles et d'une Licence de l'école Hanns Eisler à Berlin, elle a été l'élève de Daniel Blumenthal, Stephen Arnold et de Konrad Maria Engel. Elle a été également l'élève de Frédéric Aguessy, et a bénéficié de cours donnés par Jean-Claude Pennetier, Ralph Gothoni, Cécile Hugonnard-Roche, Anne Queffelec, Philippe Entremont, Yovan Markovitch, Isabel Charisius et Hervé Nkaoua.

Par ailleurs elle a suivi un cursus de direction d'orchestre, d'analyse, de clavecin et d'accompagnement.
Elle suit à présent un Master 2 de direction de choeur en partenariat avec la Sorbonne.
Elle a étudié la posture physiologique du musicien à Berlin accompagnée d ́une solide formation pratique dans les domaines de la gestion de la kinésie, la relaxation, et la respiration (Pilates, Techniques Alexander, Feldenkreis, Ecole de la Respiration, Ecole du dos).

During this class we will put a special focus on improvisation and expand the thematic of Level 1 & 2. During this course Davide will talk about all the most common vocabulary of bebop improvisation skills: Arpeggios, Scales, Diatonic Approaches, Chromatic Approaches, Double Chromatic, Triple, and the most efficient ways of studying them as a vocalist. The goal of these workshops is to improve our ears, timing, confidence and leadership as singers.

With a special focus on vocal improvisation and the interaction between band and singer. This course will be implemented giving you access to 3 booklets about Scat Improvisation vocabulary and technique Davide wrote at Berklee School Of Music for the Danilo Perez Foundation Workshops he tough.

Imparto clases de canto, de piano, de sensibilisación/introducción a la música y solfeo.

Vivo en Madrid y soy estudiante de Grado Superior en Canto (Jazz y Músicas Actuales). Dedico una buen parte de mi tiempo a la enseñanza (musical y linguistica) en formato de clases particulares en linea o a domicilio.

Empecé a dar clases particulares a domicilio a niñxs cuando vivía en Alemania. Durante el curso academico 22-23 dí clases de piano a alumnxs de todas edades en la Escuela de música RedMusik (Igualada, Cataluña).

Estudié el piano y otros instrumentos durante mas de 15 años en la UGDA y en el Conservatorio de la Ciudad de Luxemburgo. Después de muchos años de solfeo y piano obtuve el certificado de „Première Mention“ del Conservatorio, con la calificación "Très Bien".

Una buena clase de música debe incluir no solamente la técnica o la lectura de partituras, sino también el estudio teórico y armónico, la improvisación, el juego recreativo con el instrumento, ejercicios de audición y de rítmica. Me interesa diseñar la clase de manera creativa y adaptada a las necesidad y los deseos del/de la alumnx.

Estas clases están diseñadas para alumnos con diferentes conocimientos de piano, desde iniciación hasta intermedio - avanzado. Normalmente utilizo el método de Faber Piano Adventures, útil para todas las edades y niveles, pero puede escogerse otro método dependiendo de la forma de aprendizaje de cada estudiante. Iniciamos con pre-lectura, introducción al pentagrama y lectura de partituras. Aprenderás de una forma divertida y efectiva cómo leer música. También, de manera integral, aprenderás acerca de teoría musical y entrenamiento auditivo. Adicionalmente, eres libre de proponer canciones de tu gusto, para irlas aprendiendo a la par del método.

I'm Leila, a French-Austrian opera singer, trained in France and Germany.
In my singing lessons, I focus on developing a healthy, sustainable technique, while helping students discover untapped potential and find fulfillment in singing. My approach is based on listening, physical awareness and flexibility, allowing the technique to develop organically and understanding what works best for each person individually.

As we work on pieces, I also focus on the musical aspects of singing such as intonation and phrasing, as well as the artistic dimension: expression, interpretation, language, and stylistic awareness.
