When you walk in Paris, every street seems like a monument. There’s always a building, a statue, or even the street itself that is part of History.

Drawing is a great way to discover a big city. It demands to slow down and pay better attention to what you see. It is also a good way to keep memory of your travelling experience, more personal and original than a photo.

As an urban sketcher and art teacher, I offer a drawing experience in the streets of Paris. Depending of which area you want to discover, these sessions can go from 2 to 4 hours.
Everybody can draw, so don’t worry if you’re afraid of the exercise, the main goal is to have fun ! I will help you with simple technics to build sketchings.

Acerca de mí

Diplômé des Beaux-Art de Paris depuis 2017, je suis spécialisé dans le dessin d'observation au sein de l'espace public. Ma pratique artistique fait dialoguer le croquis avec la gravure sur bois, la peinture et plus récemment l'écriture.

En parallèle, je poursuis un travail pédagogique avec de nombreux publics: cours particulier enfant/adulte, écoles, stages d'initiations techniques et de créativité.
Qu'il s'agisse de cours hebdomadaires ou de séances plus ponctuelles, je m'adapte au rythme et à la sensibilité de mes élèves, jusque dans les exercices que je formule selon la singularité créative de chacun.

A graduate of Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2017, I specialize in observational drawing in public space.
My artistic practice brings sketching into dialogue with woodcut, painting and more recently writing.

At the same time, I pursue educational work with many audiences: private child/adult lessons, schools, technical and creativity initiation courses.
Whether it's weekly lessons or more specific sessions, I adapt to the rhythm, level and sensitivity of my students. The exercises are adapted to the creative singularity of each.

For beginners, the important thing is to gain confidence in your ability to observe, tell, let go. I attach great importance to the fact that the practice of drawing remains above all a pleasure!

I’m a drawing teacher and artist living in Paris. Since 6 years, I provide drawing class to many publics, from school to urban sketching sessions.
Since two years, I also give online drawing class for all public. I have an IPad, so I can share my screen to guide my student by drawing directly on it and show them some drawing technics as if we were on the same spot.

Learning drawing is half about learning basics technics, like perspective, contrasts and human form, and half about trusting your own vision, by observation work or imagination exercices. My teaching program is always a combination of those elements.

When I started photography as a photo model, I was curious to see what it could do. For some, they are afraid to expose themselves, to reveal themselves, to show themselves as they are, their deep nature. I was able to discover facets of my person through the photo shoots and discover that I could give a vivid emotion in a static photograph of nature.
Having had experiences with various photographers and in all areas of photography, I want to give the opportunity to other people to have the confidence and ease to pose in front of the camera, in front of the flash, in front of people who fix you for hours and stand up to the demands of professional photographers. It will be largely coaching, self-reflection and personal development. There will be theory and then practice.

Any technique is an excuse to play, to break the rules, and to experiment. We should feel free to try without worrying about the final outcome. As an advocate of the creative process, I believe that the goal is not the result itself but rather an element we sometimes discover midway.

Unleash your unconscious and flow throughout the process, which, on this occasion, is more important than the final result. We will enjoy the journey because it is the only thing that truly matters.

In this workshop, we will express ourselves freely, release blockages, overcome fear to enhance our creative potential. We will also learn to break and discard the work we've done. And, of course, to have fun.
