1st place nationally in Lebanon in 2012 and 2015, then 3rd place worldwide in India in 2016, I now offer mental calculation courses on abacus for children.
The abacus is an ancient calculating tool, used long before calculators. I learned this method as a child through the UCMAS program, and it has been incredibly beneficial. Beyond mental arithmetic, it allowed me to stand out from other students and feel particularly comfortable in elementary, middle, and high school, especially in subjects that require concentration, logic, and a good memory, whether in mathematics, science, history, or other subjects where it's necessary to retain information and structure one's thoughts.
What I love about this method is that it doesn't just develop calculation speed. It also helps strengthen concentration, memory, visualization, logic, self-confidence, and comfort with numbers. For many children, it's a real foundation that helps them far beyond the sessions, in how they learn, think, and approach school with more confidence.
Each child has their own way of understanding. My role is to adapt to them, to patiently pass on this method, and to make learning stimulating, progressive, and accessible.
Since this method requires regularity to give real results, I prefer support over several sessions, with progression and training between lessons.

Je peux me déplacer ou effectuer les cours en ligne à votre convenance.

Pour ce qui est du déroulement d'un cours, je vous demanderai d'abord en amont de m'envoyer le cours sur lequel vous avez besoin d'aide. De ce fait je pourrais l'étudier chez moi et préparer de mon côté des questions ou des exercices dessus.
Au début de chacun des cours je demanderai quels sont les difficultés et points à voir/revoir. (dure environ 10min)
Puis je prendrai le temps d'expliquer chacun des points à voir/revoir, et ce, jusqu'à compréhension totale du sujet. Je reste disponible pendant chaque séance pour qu'on me pose des questions etc et je prendrai le temps à la fin du cours de programmer le prochain cours si besoin :)

Je pense avec le temps créer un canal de conversation afin que tous les élèves de mes cours puissent poser leurs questions avant leurs évaluations etc et je ferai en sorte d'y répondre au mieux et surtout le plus rapidement possible pour les questions de dernières minutes :)
