About the platform: The classes are held on the platform Meet, so that the student doesn't have to download any program to attend the lessons. The professor piano is shown on a camera and another one is pointing frontally to him. The student will need his own camera and microphone to attend the lessons, and be able to show his keyboard.

About the teaching style: The content of each lesson is adapted to each student's necessities, always combining practice and harmony with the goal of not only being able to play a piece or improvisation, but also to understand harmonically what we are playing and being able to transform it.

My name is Juan. I am a composer, jazz pianist, songwriter and professor from Madrid, Spain.
I studied jazz piano and harmony first in Madrid and then in Boston, U.S.A, where I graduated from Berklee College of Music.
Since then I have been combining the creation and performing of my own music, which you can find in any streaming music service, with my job as a jazz piano professor. This second part of my professional life leads me as well to my particular music learning website with a lot of music articles and information for my students.
I am teaching online lessons at the moment. You can find all information about them on this site. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding the classes and I will try to answer them as soon as possible.
