In this class, we move at your pace in a relaxed, supportive environment. You’ll learn technical development and fretboard visualization through a structured, outcome-driven approach. Every lesson comes with a clear, custom-engineered practice plan so you know exactly what to do between sessions. My goal is to give you the tools you need so that eventually, you won't need a teacher at all.

I'm Ally. I’m a guitarist, producer, and music teacher with 23 years of professional experience and over a decade spent in the classroom. I’ve mentored over 500 students of all ages and levels, helping them find their own voice on the instrument.

What really drives my teaching is a simple goal: I want to develop independent musicians who eventually don't need me at all. I know how frustrating it is to feel "stuck" or unsure of how to actually get better. That’s why my lessons are relaxed and supportive, but always practical every session comes with a clear, structured practice plan so you are improving between our meetings, not just during them.

This class is designed for the semi-professional or advanced hobbyist looking to bridge the gap between the bedroom and the stage. Drawing on 23 years of professional performance and film scoring experience, I offer high level coaching in all genres and techniques.

We focus on "Diagnostic Teaching" identifying the specific mechanical or conceptual barriers holding you back and creating bespoke exercises to move you past technical ruts. We can also dive into professional songwriting, practical music theory, and home recording workflows using Logic or Ableton. This is industry integrated learning designed to meet real-world standards.

Have fun learning your favourite songs and playing guitar. We offer tailor-made online guitar lessons. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player. All lessons are customized to your skills and goals goals.

Lessons are centered around two principles:
1. Teaching the basics of guitar technique: reading notes/tabs, analysis of melody and harmony, ear training
2. An open approach focused on learning to play your favourite songs

Levels:
Beginners will first learn the basics, such as tuning, posture, basic technique, reading tablature, and playing elementary chords. After ten lessons you will be able to play basic chords and single-note melodies. You will already be able to play your favourite music!
If you are already a more advanced player we will work on improving specific technical and musical skills such as soloing, improving your sound, and learning genre-specific techniques.

Guitar Styles:
You can choose almost any music style you want to play: Pop, rock, jazz, blues, folk, country, flamenco, and classical.

Having difficulty with guitar lessons in English? Don't worry: lessons can be held in German, Italian, French and Dutch

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam).
I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

I teach students of all ages and levels.
I have fifteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies).

In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.

Violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the IMEP of Namur, I give violin lessons at all levels, all ages, from 5 years old for children.

With several years of experience in teaching the violin, my lessons are for everyone, whatever your desires. I adapt my method according to the wish as well as the age of the student, and starting an instrument as an adult should not be a brake.
Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis.

An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History.

My rates are 29/hour at my home (Schaerbeek), 35 if I travel.

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁
I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,...
After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw!

Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc.

Posture and comfort with the instrument are the foundation for playing the guitar. I often make the connection with other musical instruments such as percussion, wind instruments and singing.

Separating and understanding the roles of the two hands is another important step in the course. One hand plays the rhythm and the other plays the notes on the fretboard. There are many exercises to develop the knowledge and skills of both hands.

I am a conservatory-educated guitar teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience who has recently moved to Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. I am fluent in English, Dutch, and French, and have extensive experience teaching both one-to-one lessons and classroom settings.

I have a long track record of preparing students for graded examinations such as ABRSM and Trinity, with students regularly achieving merit or distinction. At the same time, lessons can also be tailored to students who simply want to learn for enjoyment or personal development.

My teaching covers a wide range of styles including classical, pop, jazz, and rock. I am a DJ instructor and I teach mixing both digitally and on vinyl. My course starts from the basics: we will learn how to use equipment such as the CDJ-2000 Nexus, the Xone 92 and the Technics 1200 MK2 turntables.

We'll cover how to select your music, where to find it (platforms, sources), how to organize it effectively, and how to use Rekordbox. We'll also cover the basics of mixing, beatmatching, and understanding musical tonalities to better grasp the structure and energy of tracks.

You will learn how to build a coherent mix, create your own podcast, and choose music according to the mood, the moment, and the audience.

We will also talk about the reality of DJing in the evening: what to check before getting behind the decks, the essential points to know, as well as tips and tricks for mixing in front of an audience, whether in a club or any other type of event.

I'll also share my personal experience as a DJ: I started from scratch, created my own events, mixed alongside international artists, and played in various clubs abroad. We'll cover everything you need to know about bookings: fees, what to ask for, and how to operate as a DJ, especially internationally.

We will also cover the creation of a technical rider, an artist press kit, important information to pass on to promoters, as well as everything related to promoting an artist.

I'm a 32-year-old DJ and I've been mixing since I was 18. I've progressed through all the stages: from starting out in my basement for friends, to birthday parties, to becoming a resident DJ at a club with international DJs. I've organized my own events, DJed abroad, and I've also worked as a club promoter, which has given me a deep understanding of the promotional side of things and the criteria for selecting DJs.

Today, I continue to DJ all over Belgium.

Finally, the course can be given in French, Dutch, English and possibly Spanish.
