I teach students of all ages how to sing, perform their own songs and covers and for adults I cover artist development strategies for singers who want to improve their online profiles, or to develop their craft. I have had 15 years teaching experience and have performed in many different capacities, within musicals, in duos and bands as well as solo performances. I really enjoy teaching people of all ages and abilities how to sing, bring their ideas to fruition and achieve their goals in singing. I am a vocal coach, thus I like to work with students to help them to create a plan for developing their music abilities, from music theory, sight singing, to solid singing technique, performance and choosing the right style of song for your voice. We work on your aural understanding and awareness and help to make you a well rounded musician. Because of my background in classical singing, I can teach both classical and pop styles of singing. I also regularly teach the piano as I have a grade 5 in piano currently studying, myself for a grade 6.

I have had 15 years experience in teaching all ages and abilities, have led community music projects and sessions, sung professionally in bands, duos and as a solo performer for many years. I have a degree in popular music, am fully insured and DBS checked.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.

I have been teaching adult beginners and intermediates to play the violin and viola for 10 years. The focus is very different. One person would like to find relaxation in playing the violin. Another would like to be able to play a certain piece because he likes it. A third has picked up the violin again after a long time.

I have had violin lessons for > 10 years and am currently studying viola at the Conservatory of Bolzano. I have 10 years of teaching experience.

I teach classical and electric violin, always tailored to the student. The lessons can also be carried out using the Suzuki method.

This class introduces the core concepts of film scoring and how music shapes story, emotion, and narrative in film and television. Students will learn how to support and move images through music, exploring timing, mood, theme, and structure. Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests and level, from complete beginners to advanced composers, and can focus on electronic, orchestral, or hybrid approaches.

The course also includes analysis and deconstruction of existing film scores to understand compositional techniques and storytelling strategies. Students will learn how to set up and optimize their digital audio workstation for film scoring, define personal creative goals, and work with industry-standard orchestral sample libraries and synthesizers such as Spitfire Audio, Orchestral Tools, and Cinematic Studio Series.
