Portuguese (PT) for Foreigners with a native speaker :)

1) General Information
We will cover the following five skills:
-Reading
-Oral comprehension
-Grammar
-Written expression
-Oral expression

2) How will we organize our classes?
I suggest that we start by reading a text for training the pronunciation and for acquiring more vocabulary. We will not do an exhaustive analysis of the text (which is something I may suggest in the context of a homework).

We will proceed with grammar: I will introduce you to the topic (e.g., verb tense), followed by some exercise solving.

If we have time left, we will finish the class with either:
-A dictation exercise to practice listening comprehension and writing
-An informal conversation to practice oral interaction

Obviously, we can change this plan and/or its order to suit your learning needs and ensure you come to classes motivated and interested!

3) What about homework?
I suggest one of the following (if you have enough time between classes, we can combine them):
-Translating and/or writing a text
-Reading a text and answering some questions to practice reading comprehension
-Completing grammar exercises

Hello!
I’m a young Portuguese lady and I hold a Degree in Law. For the past two years, I've lived in Izmir, Madrid, Warsaw, Vienna and Stockholm, in this order, to study or work.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
I have a strong passion for travelling and learning more about the political, social and economic realities of today’s societies.
But one degree, three internships, five legal publications and a job later, I realized Law remains a very traditional field where remote work and flexible hours are yet to be widely and regularly implemented.
Ultimately, I was spending more time at the office instead of doing the things that make me genuinely happy and fulfilled – getting to know cultures, connecting with interesting people, being adventurous, independent and free!
For these reasons, I shifted my career and life approach for the upcoming years. I started searching for different opportunities, as a Volunteer and Freelancer, without the downsides of a 9-5 schedule and the overwork culture I experienced.
