I am a professor of classical literature and laureate of several first prizes of French poetry.

I adapt to all levels and make ideas take shape through words.

J'ai eu un grave accident il y a vingt ans et depuis l'art est devenu ma principale motivation. Au début, j'inventait des histoire que j'écrivais illustré par des dessins. Après je me suis lancé dans l'écriture d'un roman qui n'a abouti à rien, mais au moins j'ai pris du plaisir à l'écrire et lors de mes 14-15 ans, à l'hôpital pour passer le temps, je me suis mis à écrire des chansons. Après ça, j'ai commencé d'écrire pour des groupe et depuis là, je ne peux plus me passer d'écrire ce qui me passe par la tête sous forme de poème. Que ça soit des peintures, des articles, des paysages, des situations et j'en passe, tout me donne l'inspiration. Après j'ai suivi des cours de peinture à l'académie Demeuron et de graphisme à côté, dans un atelier protégé, ce qui me permettait d'illustrer mes poèmes. Suivant cette période, j'ai suivi un apprentissage de sellerie ou j'ai fait des sacs à main, dans une ferme entouré par une nature qui m'est chère pour la création.
A présent, j'ai un atelier où je fais toutes sortes de choses, mais la poésie reste ma priorité.

Ce cours est dédié à ceux qui ont des choses à dire et que la poésie peut aider. Elle pourra aussi aider au langage et à la bonne articulation, car ce n'est pas tout de la lire et de l'écrire, il faut aussi savoir la réciter. Quant à son histoire, il est aussi très intéressant de s'y plonger: L'inspiration peut être apportée par toutes sortes de choses, que ça soit par la peinture, par un article, par un conte, etc. Elle peut être sans limite. A propos de la recherche, RERO, bibliothèque en ligne, peut être un bon outil.

I am a passionate English Literature student at the University of Kent with years of Creative Writing experience. I've studied writing at the University of Amsterdam, have written and directed my own play, and have been published by various student papers, zines and online publications.

I also struggled to say what I was thinking and sometimes my mouth couldn't keep up with my brain. So I bought myself some pens and some notebooks and I began to keep a 'diary', these little notebooks I would scribble down in were anything but 'diaries' though. I soon found that channelling my energy into poetry and storytelling, helped me not only put into perspective the things in my life I was struggling with, but I also found my voice, my vocation and what I now do for a career. I have a BA in English Literature from Aberystwyth University, an MA in Critical Theory and Creative Writing from Sussex University, and a PhD in Critical Theory and Literature, also from Sussex.

I have tutored GCSE and A-level pupils at State schools across the UK, as well as students at independent schools such as Marlborough College, Bedales, Charterhouse and Hurtwood House. For five years I was also writer in residence at Hurtwood House.
