Professional concert pianist and piano teacher, i am very passionate about teaching what i love most - music.
I am as much as home on the concert stage as in the classroom, and i have many years of experience teaching all levels, from absolute beginners to music university students. Whether you would like to learn how to read music scores , improve your sight-reading skills and harmony/solfeggio knowledge, or prepare for exams and competitions, i provide my students with a curated , tailored experience according to their needs.
Each student comes with a specific set of challenges and i truly enjoy sharing the music i love and helping students find their way around their instrument.
I believe that the key to teaching well is to develop a good rapport with students, to understand their needs and expectations, and to focus on the encouragement of artistic and musical development

I am a graduate of the Univeristy of Indianapolis, The Univeristy of Fine arts Berlin and the Mozartuem University Salzburg. I have a postgraduate degree in Piano Performance . I have been performing on stages around the world for nearly two decades, and this has given me a rich experience and an ability to connect well with others.

Über mich

I am passionate about sharing and spreading the beauty of music with others. I believe that teaching is an integral part of any artists' life . When we love our artform, it is only natural to want to share it and teach it to others.
Having been through the cut-throat and ultra-competitive environment of professional classical music education, i firmly believe that a kind and personal approach is needed when learning music. Instead of focusing only on what the student needs to change and improve, i believe a gentler approach that also relies on encouragement and acknowledgment of a students efforts is much more conducive to learning music and enjoying it in the process.

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

I have over 20 years of concert experience, playing solo recitals, and in enesmbles in various formats. I have performed and toured extensively throughout the USA and Europe , and i believe this has not only given me vast amounts of musical experience but it has also equipped me with good social skills - a crucial element required for good teaching.
I have taught privately nearly 2 decades, from beginners to amateur adults to professional music students.
