I am Francesca, a young violinist living in Leiden. My lessons are for all ages and levels; we will make together a plan accordingly to your goals. I’ve been playing with orchestra since I was 12 years old and I have several years of experience teaching violin and music in international schools. I’ll bring my experience with classical and pop music and I’ll share it with all of you.

I am a professional violinist and music teacher. I play violin since I was 7 years old. I have a classical background and a master degree in Violin - instrumental repertoire and chamber music. My carrier has been divided between performing concerts with international orchestra and teaching violin to (not only) young people.

I am a young, dynamic, and qualified teacher (Master in Music pedagogy & Master in Performance) giving:
Violin lessons for beginners and advanced students, adults, and children as early as age 4.

I love to play and to teach my instrument. I play in different Orchestras, classical chamber music, and I improvise in contemporary music with body movement. I worked a lot on the body position while playing, which I think is very important in order to release tension in the muscles and feel freer with the instrument.
I am very excited to share the knowledge I have with my instrument with you!

I like to teach and share my passion of music amongst others. I can teach classical, pop and jazz music-whatever you find most suitable. The most important thing is to have pleasure in the process of learning how to play the violin. My motto in teaching violin are words of my teacher, the legend of violin, Wanda Wilkomirska: "You can do something wrong technically, but always you can play beautifully." Being a soloist myself I always remember these words also when I teach. My aim as a teacher is to show you how to have joy and comfort in playing the violin to enjoy it further on in performing for an audience.

I shape my lessons in the most dynamic way, often accompanying the Piano. I also like to follow the musical taste of my students and I am qualified to give a well-grounded technical instrumental formation.
