At the beginning the teacher will analize the previous knowledge of the student to do a basic diagnosis and yo understand the starting point for the class.

Based on the diagnosis, the class will be structured to support the student the best possible way to achieve the academic goals. The class is divided in 3 different parts: Explanation, Working with teacher's support and Working independently. At the end, the class will have a fast review and a small homework to improve skills.

The student will learn step by step the neccesary processes to face different math challenges based on the topics.

Pedagogy and teaching became a passion since I was a teenager. I have spent 15 years of my life being math tutor and teacher. My teaching philosophy is based in commitment, discipline, and assertive communication with my students, so they can feel their teacher as a support and a guide to overcome the math learning challenges.

- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.
- Postgraduate course of Teaching and Pedagogy.
- Master of Education.

I am passionate about learning languages, I can speak in three languages Spanish, English and Portuguese to teach math. I also can speak a bit of Japanese.

Expérience / Qualifications

I have been teaching for 10 years in different schools in Colombia 🇨🇴 and now I am working as an International Math Teacher in ISHCMC-AA located in Thao Dien, District 2.

I have a successful experience as a Mathematics Tutor. I have given more than 100 hours of tutoring to students of various levels: middle school, high school, and higher education.

Examples :
- I accompanied a student in Terminale STI2D (final year in French high school) throughout the school year, with the main objective of preparing the baccalaureate (final high school exam in France). This student succeeded, with a grade of 17 in mathematics.
- I prepared a student for the DAEU mathematics exam (a French exam equivalent to high school final exam): 4 hours of lessons per week for 2 months. She passed her exam at the first try.
