I am a portuguese guy from beautiful Lisbon/Cascais; I will gladly tell you all about my country.
From language, to culture to cooking. I have traveled and live thru the world, fine tuning my perspective and context of what really is the Portuguese culture is towards the other countries of the world.
Now I am studying in Den Haag, interior architecture and on my free times; would love to share and motivate people into knowing and speaking Portuguese. I could also show and teach how to cook our amazing tasty simple food; which is a big passion of mine. There was nothing better than cooking with my grandma, learnt all from her; mainly food from Alentejo.

I started my career as an English language teacher in 2008 and soon became very passionate about language learning and teaching. This culminated in a Masters degree in second-language acquisition and a CELTA Certificate from Dundee College. I specialised in Trinity and Cambridge exams and also in conversational English for practical and everyday use.

After many years overseas, both teaching and examining English, I have returned to Spain and am available to share my extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of English. I currently work as an Aviation teacher in a school in Alicante where I have taught for some years.

My teaching approach is student-centred and communicative, where learning is a positive experience in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. All my students are encouraged to speak as much as possible to increase fluency. Professionalism, patience and a good sense of humour guaranteed!

All lesson materials are provided free of charge. I teach using a mixture of coursebook material , whiteboard presentations, listening activities, video clips and general speaking practice.

While my classes are 100% in English, I can also speak Spanish and some Italian words. This gives me a real insight as to why students make certain mistakes, and how to best avoid them. I really enjoy teaching and helping people improve and grow in confidence.

We all learn at different paces and in different ways. My job is to give you the tools to learn and enjoy the process. Are you ready?

Hello everyone!
I'm Giorgia and I come from Torino, Italy.
I offer my native knowledge of Italian to any of you, who wants to discover this beautiful language.

I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments.
Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. My suggestion of a well planned lesson is, for any level, to divide it into two parts: grammar first and then conversation (covering all the abilities mentioned above).

My mother tongue is Spanish (Castilian) and my second language is English and I am perfectly bilingual Spanish and English. I studied English at a university in the United States of America and I have worked in American Schools with Preschool, Elementary, Middle and High School or High School students. In addition, I have also taught university students and adults in general. As well as I have lived and worked in different countries where English and Spanish are the most spoken languages around the world.

I like to organize the classes according to the learning objectives of each student, so my classes will be adapted to the level, needs, interests and pace of each student. I have many teaching materials and resources to use in my classes and the teaching materials and resources the student already has will be used as well.
