Acerca de mí
After completing studies of literature and film writing, I'm currently working as a scriptwriter and video game writer.
I've been regularly giving private lessons in my areas of expertise over the last ten years, and my taste for transmitting knowledge has only grown more.

About the French lessons: I've worked a few years as a Foreign Language French teacher (FLE), but I feel more comfortable in small groups. It's easier to provide adapted advice and support, since every student needs to follow their own rhythm.

About the drawing lessons: My drawing skills come from an academic background, but have mostly been self-taught. I'd gladly send some pictures of my work if you need to see what I'm capable of. What I love the most is introducing beginners to drawing, and the methods I use for teaching have proven to be super effective!

I can't wait to share my knowledge with you and your child.
Formación
International High School: I joined international classes at the age of thirteen, which is the reason I'm fluent in English.
University of Nice (Modern and Classical French literature): After completing 3 years in a Prépa Littéraire, I followed literature studies, mostly in French literature, while educating myself on English literature.
Méliès Campus in Cannes (Scriptwriting Studies): I've specialized myself in Creative writing for Film and Television, as well as Video Games.

Hi, I'm an art student and enthusiast who wants to teach beginners. I love providing a first approach to drawing and sketching, and my method has proved to be very efficient. I have experience mostly with kids and teenagers, but if you're an adult it's fine too!
I can teach in French or in English.

Does your child need to improve their grades in French, gain more confidence, or simply practice ?
Or do you want to make fast progress in French for your studies, career, or your personal enjoyment ?

I've been giving French lessons for more than ten years, in person and online. I've taught both groups and individuals, working with students from many different backgrounds. I'm quick to understand what my student really needs, and what is the best method of learning for them. I will adapt to your needs, and know how to approach language learning in various ways.

I offer you a tailored approach : we can make the lessons' focus about precise subjects targeting your goals (for school or work for example), or I can come up with varied activities and subjects so that learning never becomes boring. In my lessons, I aim for a balance of speaking, writing, understanding, and enjoyment.

To give you an example, I can focus on exam preparation and a specific program for high school students. With adults, I can focus more on conversation and practical vocabulary. If needed, I offer a clear follow-up and recaps of what we have worked on.

My students are all very satisfied and it's always been a pleasure teaching them my native language ! They also regularly gain confidence and improve their grades significantly. I love seeing them be so curious, and making progress over time.

Contact me today to discuss your needs and arrange a first online lesson. I can't wait to help you improve your French !

Learn real French, as spoken in the street, in shops or at work.

The lessons are based on actual communication in French. Imagine you met a French person who didn't speak or understand English, and you had to communicate... how would it go? maybe it would be difficult? especially at first?...

Thankfully I am used to this situation and have many techniques to overcome the difficulties of the language barrier:

1) I always use a whiteboard to illustrate my explanations. It may not seem like much but the use of pictures to illustrate an explanation makes it so much clearer! It also stimulates the imagination and increases students Pictionary skills.

2) A great deal of miming enters the communication. A student who wants to talk about his pet parakeet but doesn't know the French word "perruche" will have fun acting like a bird, imitating cage bars with his fingers, chirping merrily... When I finally understand what he is doing, I happily shout out the word PERRUCHE! as if I had just won a game. The student is happy he managed to make himself understood, and all the miming and effort will act as a powerful stimulant for his memory.

3) So in lessons we use miming, drawing, and also ... talking!! I love to teach students to use French words they already know in order to discover new French words. Students often know I'm bilingual so if they don't know a word, for example "beginning" in French, they will ask me "comment dit-on beginning en Français". So I look dumb and I ask them "C'est quoi BEGINNING? (What is BEGINNING?). And I always use a strong French accent on the English word to emphasise the fact I DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH!!
They often laugh at my reaction and search for ways to explain. Sometimes they have difficulties to explain, so I help them. Yesterday my eleven-year-old student was at a loss, but I showed him he could simply use the opposite « La Fin » (the end) to make me understand he is searching for « Le Début » (the beginning).

Lessons are lively, interactive and effective. A vous de jouer !
