My name is Kerry, I am native English and I work as an English Teacher in Barcelona. I have been working within English academies, schools and have been offering private tuition to students for nearly a decade.

I now work part-time as a language trainer for a global company called Global-LT.

During my time as a teacher I have studied many methodologies and always strive to make my lessons dynamic and fun for students.

I teach all levels and all ages, online and offline, and I have experience preparing students for the Cambridge English exams.

I can also help with parents looking at homeschooling options and help develop lesson packs.

I am a qualified English Teacher living in Barcelona. I have 10 years experience teaching English within schools and home environments. After working with different methodologies and teaching styles I decided to stick with private tuition. I absolute love teaching English, and believe people should enjoy learning it! My hope is to create a learning space online and offline that is interesting and dynamic for all students.

I provide unique and creative classes tailored to your specific needs, which we will first establish, as such we can focus on what is most important for you. I use a task-based approach to learning English, with the necessary vocabulary and grammar support, but I am a master in conversational classes (for professional or personal environment).

Part of this involved teaching Spanish to teenagers at a high school, tutoring my university classmates in Dutch, and staying in Madrid to study at Nebrija University for a month. I have about 10 years of teaching experience: individual and group classes, with children and adults, online and in person. I've lived in Spain (currently in Barceloneta) with my partner since 2019. I studied in Chile for 5 months and in Mexico for 3 months for my master's degree. I love explaining, learning, and teaching new things, and I promise I have the necessary patience!

Be surprised by a varied offer. In this series of tutoring lessons I give tips to be able to read Latin texts fluently. Using a number of selected texts from post-classical periods (mainly the Renaissance), both prose and poetry, we approach Latin as a modern language. This means that we read linearly and do not try to solve the sentence structures as a puzzle. The intended goal is to read Latin in a fluent and pleasant way, as well as to become acquainted with Latin texts and cultures from later periods.

My name is Bo. I’m 26 years old and originally from the Netherlands. Dutch is my native language, but I grew up with English as a second language. I’ve completed two degrees in English and also I have worked in English, so I can say it comes naturally to me. I’m passionate about learning languages myself, so I’d love to help you improve your Dutch or English.

I offer both conversation and grammar classes. If you’re preparing for a specific situation in English, this is the perfect way to get ready and build your confidence. I’m open to teaching all ages, and I also have experience caring for children, so if needed, I can combine childcare with teaching them English or Dutch.
