Hi! I'm Adriano, a certified CEDILS teacher with over five years of experience, born and raised in Rome.
In addition to Italian, I speak English, French, Spanish, and a bit of Chinese — so I know firsthand the challenges (and the joys!) of learning a new language.

My passion? Turning lessons into cultural journeys.
I love using Italian art, music, and food to make you feel at home in the language. I ride my bike through olive groves, grow tomatoes, and I’m a storyteller at heart — with me, you’ll learn Italian by talking about what inspires you.
Because grammar is important, but the real magic lies in living the language.

Throughout my career — from my work with EF Education First and MIUR (Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research) in France to my online teaching on platforms such as italki — I have refined my ability to design engaging, communicative lessons tailored to learners’ needs.

I wouldn’t call myself a traditional teacher, but I’m organized and clear when it comes to setting learning goals. I bring a lot of energy and creativity to my lessons, but I also know how to create a relaxed, supportive space — the kind that helps you overcome the blocks that often come with learning a new language.
