I support students at all levels of academic research and writing - from a first essay to a doctoral thesis. I specialise in qualitative research methods; data gathering and data analysis. I am very happy to work with students who have no experience of essay writing, especially those who have come to Higher Education through FE through alternative routes. I support students undertaking research and written projects who are unable to get the level of tutorial support they need from their universities and want to achieve their full potential. I am also very experienced with students whose first language is not English, and students with dyslexia. A lecturer and researcher of over twenty years experience, I have two degrees, a Doctorate in Design Education and am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I provide under, post-grad or research students in the social science, humanities and creative subjects with everything they need to know to plan, propose, conduct and write up a research project of any size at any level. I provide simple-to-follow support to make the research and writing process straightforward - and even enjoyable!
