Dear Student/Parent, It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Katie, I am an 8-year experienced primary and preschool teacher, offering English lessons to children and adults. I am a native English speaker and also speak German at a C1 level and Spanish at an A2 level. For children, lessons will be taught through the play-based learning philosophy, where I will teach your child English through engaging with them in their play. We (parent and teacher) will be in contact prior to lessons to discuss what play provocations to set up before the lesson. These provocations will be chosen based on your child's interests, their development over the past lessons and their future learning goals. For adults, our lessons will be largely conversationally based. Reading, writing and grammar will be woven into the conversation topics. Conversation topics will be chosen based on your interests or learning goals. I am looking forward to meeting you!
