We live in a fast-paced world where a working knowledge of mathematics is indispensable for everyone, young and old alike. However, many students struggle with a good grasp of mathematics right from childhood and this continues till high school. My passion is to work with students across any key stage to foster a deep understanding of mathematics and science and ensure barriers to understanding this important subject are removed. I have taught for over 7 years and to more than 500 students, across over 2500 hours. So, I possess adequate skill-set to drive the teaching of mathematics to any age-range of students. Teaching provides a unique opportunity to shape lives and influence young people towards a responsible future, hence, my passion for teaching. As one with a passion for Mathematics and Science, I understand that many students face real challenges grasping the concepts of the subject. Hence, teaching provides me the avenue to tackle this. while also making a contribution; giving back to the society in a way that enriches me, challenging me towards further growth and self-development. In view of the recent Coronavirus and schools suspension, learning has been rescheduled to hold mostly online. Considering the importance of children receiving constant learning support for their education at this time, I am therefore offering either in-house or online tuition whichever works better for students.

I am an experienced, qualified (QTS), dedicated and passionate Maths and Science teacher who has taught a wide range of students in Science and Maths across different socio-cultural settings. I am simple, passionate and dedicated. I pride myself in being able to build students confidence, improve study skills and facilitate the realization of their academic goals (which include re-ignition of love/interest in Maths/Science; success in exams and admission into desired schools. Am currently teaching Mathematics at a school in the United Kingdom. I use a wide range of approaches to suit students’ abilities and ensure the best is brought out in every student. This include practical demonstration of science/Maths concepts, use of day-to-day relatable illustrations to deepen understanding of subjects and appropriate use of media in teaching. Sessions are never boring, but engaging and stimulating. I teach mostly online due to proximity.
