I specialise in tutoring Maths, English Language, English Literature and cooking skills for primary mainstream and SEN children. I create opportunities for students to develop a strong knowledge of the foundations in these subjects. I also have experience of teaching gifted and talented primary children. Students are encouraged to look for connections, problem solve and be creative in their learning. I tutor essential skills, therefore even cooking classes involve mathematical learning opportunities! Learning can involve key focus areas that I will base assess at the start, review and chart student's progress. I can offer practical advice to parent/carers and assist with homework activities. We can work alongside the school/classroom curriculum where I can also provide a deeper learning of current school learning. I can provide learning that is engaging, challenging and rewarding.
