So being in engineering school, I want to give science classes, a subject that I'm good at and that to me is essential for people heading for this type of specialty, having basis and knowledge is a a considerable asset, and in worst cases won't hurt.
I'm also really good at languages, and for me having the necessary luggage to transmit to others what you want is so fondamental nowadays, not matter how good you are at what you're doing being unable to convey your message will disadvantage you in our society whose foundations are globalization and international interactions.
