These days, you can't avoid learning English. It's a crucial subject in all secondary schools. But it's also helpful for adults at work to understand and speak English well. If learning English proves difficult, I'm here to help. English is my passion; that's why I studied English Language and Culture at Utrecht University (with a specialization in literature). Hello :) I am an ESL instructor with a BA in American Culture&literature and Teaching English and conducting one-to-one lessons. Currently, I am studying for a master's degree in Applied Linguistics and Tesol, U.K.My specializations are Business English and exam preparations for Toefl, IELTS, Toeic, Cambridge Advanced and Online Teaching. During my lessons, I utilize coursebooks targeted for these exams and provide additional resources for the students if needed. If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
