🎵 Music lessons with calm, structure & joy – for beginners, children & adults Learning music should be easy, motivating and without pressure. I offer clearly structured, patient online lessons for beginners – both for children aged 6 and up, as well as for adults. Women who desire a protected, supportive learning environment in the often male-dominated music world are especially welcome. 👩‍🏫 About me I am a trained musician with teaching experience in the online field. It is important to me that my students feel comfortable, are taken seriously, and can learn at their own pace. Patience, reliability and a positive, encouraging atmosphere are at the heart of my teaching. 🌱 My teaching method The lesson is: clearly structured age-appropriate playful (especially with children) motivating and stress-free I work with simple exercises, songs and clear goals – without pressure to perform, but with continuous progress. Ideal for children, beginners and anyone who wants to learn regularly without being overwhelmed. Technical implementation of online teaching: The lessons take place online in my virtual music room via Doozzoo. Alternatively, Microsoft Teams or a WhatsApp video call are also possible – we will choose the easiest solution for you together. To get started, all you need is a tablet or laptop with an internet connection. Headphones and an external microphone are not essential, but can significantly improve sound quality if you wish. I'm happy to help you set everything up technically in a straightforward way, so you can concentrate fully on the music.

Matéo - Paris, France36€
Trusted teacher: Hello, welcome to my ad! My name is Matéo and I am 26 years old. I have been playing guitar for 9 years and teaching it for 5 years. After studying at the conservatory and music school, I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) specializing in jazz guitar. Over the years, I have been able to accompany around forty students, both in private lessons, group lessons and at the conservatory where I teach today. OPTION1) The course I offer is aimed at beginner to intermediate level guitarists, of all ages (children too!), in acoustic and electric guitar. My goal is to give you the essential basics of the instrument (body position, technique, chords) as well as an understanding of fundamental musical concepts (rhythm, ear, reading tablature and/or music theory) which will be very useful to you as a musician. We will base our learning as quickly as possible on real pieces of music, if possible suggested by the student because I think that learning by playing the music you like is the most motivating method. As a teacher, I have always adapted as best I could to each profile to make them learn in the way that suited them best, make them play the music they like, help them with their difficulties and push them to surpass themselves in their abilities. Finally, I always make sure that the lessons take place in a calm and pleasant atmosphere so that the student progresses at their own pace and learns while having fun. OPTION 2) This course is for intermediate to advanced guitarists (and musicians in general) who want to acquire a deeper understanding of music theory. What we can cover, depending on your needs: analysis, harmony, composition, transcription, improvisation, music theory, ... Lessons can take place at my home, in the 15th arrondissement, or at the student's home where I can travel (for an extra) within a reasonable radius. Declared via CESU (Universal Employment Service Check) or self-employed invoice.

Trusted teacher: First of all, congratulations on getting this far: finding the right teacher is not easy, but the hardest part is behind you. My method is innovative and differs from the classic French system (obsolete and archaic): The student learns to become independent and autonomous by integrating technical principles applicable to different scenarios, somewhat according to the philosophy of Asian martial arts (but rest assured, nothing martial here, everything is done flexibly). My lessons are fun, and are aimed at beginners as well as experienced ones. The first step consists of first validating a few quick theoretical and technical bases. This is a crucial step to progress quickly and efficiently: what is a grade? A deal ? An arpeggio? A range ? How to hold a pick? In what position to play? Once the basics have been acquired, the student can learn pieces of their choice or work on particular playing techniques (picking, alternate picking, tapping, etc.) always in accordance with their needs, and above all their desires! Obviously the content is adapted to each person, the same goes for the style: Rock, Blues, Pop, Variety, Reggae, Metal... the possibilities are endless. For those who wish to risk it, the theme of improvisation is also on the program: Contrary to popular belief, this discipline is not reserved for the elite or the experienced, everyone is capable of it with a little training and an appropriate method. Music is an artistic field, everyone can see a future in it as long as the motivation is there!

Mary has been great in our interactions. At the moment, we are meeting twice a week for an hour each session. She started with a class in which we got to know each other and she listen to my goals. Then, she prepared exercises and lessons specially designed to help me reach those goals with practice and also prepared lessons to help me continue growing as a guitar player. Moreover, she goes often out of her way to get songs challenging to my level, but that are doable with enough practice. In all, I am enjoying quite a lot of our classes and I am always looking forward to them.

Sanja

Sanja is fantastic! Her attitude towards how she teaches is refreshing as she let's her students, and actively encourages, making a song their own. I organised this for my fiancée as a surprise birthday present and she absolutely loved the experience! She is a very visual learner so the worksheets that Sanja had prepared were perfect, despite being aimed at kids, they worked wonders for her! I was allowed to sit close by too so I could enjoy the whole experience which was lovely. Thank you so much!! And we have already organised the next lesson.
