Hi, my name is Gianie, I'm bilingual in Spanish and French. I have a Master's degree in Linguistics and more than 5 years' experience as a language teacher for primary, secondary and higher education students. I'm quite familiar with the linguistic and communicative competences of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the DELF and DALF language proficiency tests. My goal is to simplify the language learning process for my students and to provide them with rich input and feedback for the most effective and enjoyable learning experience possible. I lean towards a communicative approach but I don't rely on a single approach because I don't believe that one approach can fit all learning profiles. Instead, I combine and adapt as needed. Since the main purpose of language is communication, I will continually encourage you to use the language for practical purposes of real-life situations. Oral exposure to the language will be a fundamental part of the lessons, as, in my experience, this is the easiest way to integrate vocabulary and grammar. Moreover, I will not only help you to deal with different topics but also with different registers.
