This class is ideal for students of all levels who wish to study the cello through a structured academic method. I also offer instruction in Eastern music, focusing on Arabic maqams, proper traditional techniques, and authentic interpretation. Additionally, I teach solfège (ear training, rhythm, and sight-singing) and beginner-level piano, especially for those looking to build a solid foundation in music. Lessons are adapted to each student’s level and musical goals.

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. My name is Eman, I'm a certified Voice & Speech Therapist at Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Working at Demrdash Hospital & Ain Shams Specialized Hospital as a Voice & Speech Therapist. I trained as a voice therapist and also completed advanced training in the Alexander technique, the Smith accent method in voice therapy. In addition to, I've completed my Bachelor and Master's studies at "Child Education" specialized in Speech and Language Disorders at Faculty of Early Childhood Education, Cairo University, Egypt. Recently, studying PhD in Speech & voice disorders at Faculty of Early Childhood Education, Cairo University, Egypt. B) Neurogenic causes: organic voice disorders that result from problems with the central or peripheral nervous system innervation to the larynx that affect functioning of the vocal mechanism, such as: - Vocal tremor. - Spasmodic dysphonia. - Vocal fold paralysis. - Vocal cord paralysis or weakness. 2- Functional causes: voice disorders that result from inefficient use of the vocal mechanism when the physical structure is normal, such as: - Vocal fatigue. - Muscle tension Dysphonia or Aphonia. - Diplophonia.

The class will be an hour long, divided into two halves: the first half is practical and is specialized in exercises to strengthen the student’s abilities to play the oud, while the second half will be specialized in learning the science of Arabic music theory from Arabic (maqams)/scales and Arabic rhythms.
