I'm offering steel string guitar lessons. Learn cool techniques and how to arrange songs into fingerstyle renditions, playing melodies and harmonies simultaneously. You can adapt any song or piece to a guitar arrangement, covering a spectrum of genres. If you want to create that ongoing bass using a thumbpick on your thumb (obviously), we'll explore styles inspired by legends like Tommy Emmanuel, Chet Atkins, and Jeff Reed.

Electric Guitar Lessons: Techniques for Everyone, Any Style

This other class would cover a range of electric guitar techniques, from classic rock-inspired "Little Wing-ish" hammer-ons and pull-offs to harder rock styles like fast picking, sweep picking and pinch harmonics. It can also be on a completely different path, where we dive into both open and muted funk techniques with a pick. Of course, this course will also be structured around and practiced with the specific songs you'd like to learn and play. All courses will include an intense focus on gaining control over the fretboard, alongside music theory.

Hi there! I'm a professional, award-winning guitarist with over 18 years of experience playing Jazz, Blues, Funk, Pop, and Finger-style. I have worked internationally as a bandleader, accompanist, and solo performer.

My approach to teaching is very pragmatic, time-efficient, and fun and I prefer not to overwhelm students with too much information or technical exercises. I believe that the number one priority both in playing and teaching music should be enjoyment, and that's why I tailor each lesson to the uniqueness of each student, making sure that we are learning about things that YOU want to learn about and moving towards YOUR unique goals.
