* I always try my best for my students to let them know about music. Music is not just about playing an instrument. Its about how to understand the piece of music that is being played.
* Methods are different based on age and characteristics and I have a lot of tolerance. I perhaps describe a single part event in many different ways to make the student understand it well.
* I use "ask a question" method even in new subjects cause I believe when students reaches the answer by their own, they will never forget it.
* In sum, there are many different styles in playing piano and keyboards but the most important one is Classical style witch is my main purpose for my students.

The class length, intensity and homework can be adjusted to your specific needs and current knowledge of Italian.

The style of learning will be designed to fit your personality traits in such a way that your learning will be effective and enjoyable.

Before the first class I will send you and ask you to complete a personality test. Based on the results of the test and your current knowledge of Italian I will develop the best possible study plan for you!
Additionally, I will ask you to explain me in detail what your current level of Italian is and wether you need it for a specific purpose (eg. you are a chef wanting to learn specifically culinary related language) or if you want to improve your level overall.

By the end of the course:

-Your level of Italian and your confidence using it will have improved significantly.
-Listening/Understanding, Speaking/Vocabulary, Writing/Grammar and Reading/Pronunciation will have improved greatly.
-You will have gained an understanding on how the use of Italian language differs from the use your own language (words/phrases that do not mean what they actually mean in specific contexts).

My name is Jordi L. Jové, classical pianist and I offer piano lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced students, in English or Spanish.

I believe that anyone can learn music and piano in different stages of life with different goals and that this requires a commited, passionate, adaptable and akwnoledged teacher. In my years of education, since I began playing the piano, and later followed the professional path; I’ve seen and encountered uncountable situations being both student and teacher that made me highly value the teacher’s role and aimed to incorporate it in my career development.

My previous experiences in the field include regular private teaching, individual and in music academies during two-three years in Barcelona to students either kids, teenagers or adults (presential and online). I have also prepared music entrance examinations to public schools and conservatòries in Catalonia, covering piano lessons and music theory lessons.

The added values that I can bring are experience in reinforcement teaching in high school subjects, coaching solo musicians when accompanying them and accompanying and leading choirs. I have the skills of good communication, commitement, patience and adaptability which I think they make me a good candidate for the job. Moreover I can communicate in German and French too, in case needed.

Usually, I am refered as a passionate hard-working, curious and dedicated musician, which makes me suitable and versatile in many different situations.

My previous experience working in the music field has been as a private piano teacher as well as in Music schools.
