This course is for students that are looking to improve their English speaking, writing, reading, and grammar. The course will be taught in English but can be switched to Spanish if clarification needs to take place. The course functions on the use of conversation with minor lessons to improve the comfort with the language; letting the conversation evolve naturally instead of being constrained to just one subject.

I'm currently a student, but I've been teaching and tutoring for about a decade now. I'm a pretty relaxed teacher who likes to talk to the students to make sure that they're understanding. For tutoring, I prefer to let the students ask questions and work on problems or conversation together; as a teacher, I rely more on the lecture style.

My name is Denise I’m a Mexican Spanish as Foreign Language tutor (ELE Español Lengua Extranjera as acronym) certified by "Escuela Internacional Cervantes" with a Bachelor in Spanish Literature by the University of Nuevo León Mexico (UANL).

I started teaching and tutoring Spanish at a very young age helping my colleagues from High School achieve better scores and later I formalize this activity while finishing my university studies.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos.
