Christian theology can come across opaque and daunting at first glance. However, what is essentially contained in this discipline is the intellectual engagement of what one's life is all about in the wider context of God, creation and the afterlife in a manner that deals centrally with a relationship, a person, that confronts and addresses us. Whether one is only exploring it as a new Christian or as a sceptic, or anything in between, you are encouraged to come consider some of life's biggest questions through a more dialogical setting.

This class does not aim to convert or convince, but only seeks to help spur you on the journey of exploring what is truth and who you are in the given web of relationships.

I'm Malaysian who has had around a decade long of experience as a minister. Having worked in a multi-cultural, multi-religious and multi-racial context, I have been exposed to embracing people as they are. I am keen to help people on their journey of intellectual curiosity within their particular context and culture in knowing what matters to life.
I am currently about to finish my masters in systematic and historical theology at the University of St Andrews and would begin my PhD in the same discipline at the University of Edinburgh this fall.
The primary reason to study this field is because of my passion to journey with people from all walks of life in their thinking of life's biggest questions and fears. I aim not to offer cheap answers and desire students to likewise thirst for questions that wouldn't be easily resolved.

Basic knowledge about Islam:

Doctrine ('Aqeedah):
- The Muslim believes in Allah. Who is that?
- The Muslim believes in the Angels. Who are they? and who created them?
- The Muslim believes in all the heavenly books. Which are they?
- The Muslim believes in all prophets. Also in Jesus and Moses. How is that possible?
- The Muslim believes in the Last Day. What does that mean? What comes after this day?
- The Muslim believes in fate. Is everything already described? Did everything have to happen to us the way it happened?

I teach the Holy Quran to Muslims, and I also teach theology and tajweed to young and old in a simplified and very easy manner with care to fully learn the Islamic judgments, I have a long experience in teaching and a knowledge of modern teaching methods

I'm Meryem Melisa. I am 23 years old and live in Istanbul. I am studying Islamic Sciences at Fatih Sultan Mehmet University in 100% Arabic education. I am also teaching Turkish for Arab.
